Teen Boutique

Teen Boutique, an event created by The Sharing Shelf, is a one-day free shopping boutique for girls ages 13-19 from families in financial need. The Sharing Shelf invites girls to attend the event through the recommendation of community groups, social service agencies, schools and food pantries.

Get Involved

  • Donate new or gently used items (acute need for Adult L/XL tops and pants in size 14 and larger). Accepted items are listed below.
  • Donate new toiletries (Full Size Shampoo and Conditioner, Toothpaste & Toothbrush, Deodorant, Tampons, Sanitary Napkins, or Soap)
  • Host a clothing drive for teen girl clothing.
  • Volunteer during the event with volunteer opportunities April 24-26.
  • Donate funds. $10 can buy a girl a week’s worth of underwear. $50 can sponsor a girl to attend Teen Boutique. To donate, click here. You can also donate through Venmo @JLCWest or by calling the JLCW office at (914) 723-6130.

Clothing donations can be dropped-off on the porch of Wayside Cottage through March 27, 2020

Clothing should be gently used or new, in clean, wearable condition and Spring/Summer appropriate. Accepted sizes are Teen/Adult S to XL and pants 0-20.

The Sharing Shelf is Westchester’s clothing bank for children. It collects new and gently used clothing for infants, youth and teens and new school supplies. We then distribute those items to children in need at no cost. The Sharing Shelf was founded by a volunteer in 2009 and relies on volunteers to achieve its mission.
