Volunteer Service Awards

This award celebrates and promotes the development of young women who positively impact their communities, with the hope that they will continue to contribute to society as responsible citizens.  Awards of $1,000 per student will be presented to up to four students from the communities we serve including Armonk, Bedford, Bedford HIlls, Brewster, Briarcliff, Chappaqua, Eastchester, Greenburgh, Katonah, Mahopac, Mount Kisco, Pleasantville, Pound Ridge, Scarsdale, Somers, White Plains and Yorktown. Awards will be presented during our May JLCW meeting.

Award Criteria

The JLCW will consider all applicants who meet the following criteria:
  • Female
  • High school junior
  • Lives and/or attends High School in Central or Northern Westchester.
  • Has demonstrated a commitment to volunteerism and/or public service for the last 3 years.
